Legal Services

Legal services

Navigating the legal system after experiencing sexual violence or human trafficking can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to face it alone.

CARE Healing Center’s Legal Services Program provides free, trauma-informed legal advocacy and representation to eligible survivors, empowering them to understand their rights, make informed decisions, and navigate the legal process with confidence.
Our Legal Services team assists survivors with a variety of civil legal matters that arise as a result of domestic violence, sexual violence, or human trafficking.
We also provide legal information, advocacy, referrals, and support throughout the criminal justice process, helping victim-survivors understand what to expect and ensuring their voices are heard.
